Although I only skimmed the surface, I learned that telemedicine has great potential to improve health care for everyone - especially for those with the greatest need. To fully realize its potential, significant investments must be made to expand the technical infrastructure that telemedicine requires. Statutory changes are also necessary to expand telehealth services across the United States. But in spite of these challenges, telemedicine has been proven to be successful, and new technology pilots show that it continues to gain support.

This concludes my brief exploration of telemedicine. I enjoyed my journey, and hope you did as well.
